Wharton Chances? Please help me and I'll Chance Back!!

Yes to Micro especially if you’re going into business! Great about Calc but a warning about AP Physics based on prior experience: it’s really hard! I took accelerated physics and, like you, was humanities geared but also excellent at math. Science was primary weakness but after taking accelerated chem and getting 100% in the class I thought I’d give it a shot. Physics is extremely hard and if you aren’t 100% material in both math and science, and sometimes this even backfires, you are guaranteed for a C or worse. I think it would be better to take another class than have that bad grade on your college resume!

@Tfiosnerd‌ I’ll keep that in mind, but I took AP Chemistry last year and it went really well so I am pretty confident. That is part of the reason why I am really frustrated with my ACT Science section, because in regular academics classes I am really good at math and science, but somehow on the ACT it all falls apart for me.

If your ACT score doesn’t rise above 34 by Oct you will most likely be wait listed.

But don’t stop. Keep taking the ACTs even after the application deadline. Your scores will improve and if you are wait listed then the new (higher) scores will be of benefit.

@sgopal2‌ Wait listed? From what everyone else is saying, it seems that I would more likely be rejected haha! Thank you so much for the feedback though! I will keep trying to get my ACT to at least a 34

Thats right. Keep taking the ACTs until your scores rise. It might take some time, but it will be useful if you are placed on the waitlist. Having a jump in ACT score when it comes time to pulling people off the waitlist is always a useful bone to throw.

Your grades are good but your standardized test scores aren’t great. Do retake them.
Also, I could not see much business related activities. Try to explain why you want to attend Wharton properly in your essays.

@LazyBonez yea let’s create a new Standardized Exam and hype it up so we can rake in $$$ from desperate high schoolers, seems like education is a good field to start scams :)

@jarjarbinks23 lets do it!! Haha online education is an expanding market, we could be the first online only standardized testing
