Wharton Chances

Hi everybody!
Im a senior in high school and I applied to Wharton regular decision. I go to school in southern california, am in the top 10% of my class. I lived in Hong Kong for 5 years and am Mexican. I received the National Merit Scholarship for Hispanics. I have a 4.22 GPA and a 32 on the ACT with math and reading being my highest scores (34). I have 256 community service hours: Teching school plays, President of Teen Korps a national organization with a local chapter in my town, Vice-President of Safe Rides at my school, been a member of National Honors Society for two years. I played tennis all 3 years that I was in the United States for high school and was on varsity for those years. I recently had an interview with a Wharton alumni and all though it was only 30 minutes long, because he had a meeting he gave me his card and told me to call him any time if I wanted to get coffee or something. Which i thought was a good sign. I know Wharton is super selective so its ridiculously hard to tell but yeah, just want some peace of mind hopefully because they tell us on the 28th and I want to get in more than anything. Thank you!

Wharton: Reach.

Meh ACT score (for Wharton, mind you). Decent GPA. Good ECs, but nothing especially Wharton level or that stands out in particular. Still a strong applicant, but Wharton receives so many qualified applicants that its basically a reach for everyone unless they say, cured cancer or some other noteworthy feat.

Your sound like you have a reasonable chance.

Don’t stress. Keep the acceptance rate in mind too.

What are the odds at a casino of hitting a jackpot? You would keep your job until you won.

thank you guys! means a lot that you took the time to reply!
