I was deferred to Warton ED. Now in the regular pool.
Does anyone know when the regular decisions are
expected? Will they arrive in the mail or by login to their
website?

Also, if it is not too late, does anyone have any suggestions
on what to do at this point to show interest?

In January, I sent a letter expressing interest, sent a new
reference letter and they received my midterm grade report
which went down somewhat due to senior slump.

Would love to hear any and all feedback if possible.

At this point, I'm pretty sure there's nothing much that we can do. I'm assuming that a lot of the decisions have been made already and the admissions counselors are probably going through the last bit of applicants.

I was wondering, do the adcoms seriously reconsider the deferred kids, or do they have a tendency to sorta consider them with less priority than the RD kids? cuz ive heard a lotta people saying that a deferral is just a polite way of rejecting you

I just wish rejection would have come first. It sounds like
a let down for the second time.

I just did not know if I should contact the regional advisor.

I indicated I was working on a web design for a non profit organization in my area however, it is not completed. I did not know if I should write them at this point to let them know the status of my project.

I have been accepted to Univ. of Mich. so I guess that is
a good alternative.

If anyone has advice, please let me know.

Thanks to those who have replied to my thread.

I would think deferrees have an advantage because they know you're serious about Penn.

I believe decisions are being finalized this week, but you can still send something if you need to. I'd recommend emailing your regional officer.

I think you did the right thing after your deferral.........you expressed your continued interest. I don't think you should do anything too intrusive now like talking about your project ,but emailing your regional officer to reaffirm your enthusiasm for Penn is fine.

Thank you for your suggestion. Do you have any recommendations on what I should write in the email
to the regional officer?

I thought I would express my desire to attend Penn.
Also, I thought to mention that I was working on a web site project for a local charitable organization that I felt was
a valuable community organization to help families in need.

Do you think it is ok to reference this?
I appreciate any advice you have.

By the way, are you currently attending Penn?

You already have a good idea on what to write. It's an excellent idea to turn your web site project into a community service and mention that you'd like to continue something similar to help needy communities in Phila.should you be accepted to Penn.
