Well there goes Businessweek's credibility.

If there were anything close to a universally acknowledged and immutable fact of college rankings, it's that Wharton is by far the best undergraduate business program in the world.

And I don't think anyone would accuse me of being a cheerleader for Wharton....

these are poor rankings.
how does your #1 school have a recruiter survey rank of 52 when that is one of the most important things in the long run?

and how do notre dame and virginia have better facilities & service than wharton?
these suck. i feel like they were just tired of putting wharton at #1. and i think they give way too much credit to notre dame. i dont see them as a top 5.

Wharton outperforms the top 2 schools in most categories (median starting wage, job placement, class size) it lost because of the student scores (#13 overall) which count for 30% of BW's rankings

Right, and Wharton has boycotted the student scores section every year until this year. To participate, Wharton has to send BW a list of student contact information, which they're not willing to do.

This year, Wharton sent its students a link to the BW survey, and I'm the only person I know who responded, as most students considered it junk. Since the student scores count for quite a bit, I'm not surprised Wharton isn't ranked 1.

I would also say that whenever I leave campus and meet up with other b-school undergrads, the other kids are always way too proud of their schools, and jealous that I go to Wharton.

a student survey is bogus. this is because wharton students would have incredibly high standards. i mean, if you look at college review websites, harvard has an average student rating because its students expect it to be perfect.
