AP US Government & Politics
AP Statistics
AP Calculus BC
AP English Literature

AP Chinese Language
AP Psychology

Thinking of dropping Psych. What do you guys suggest?

AP Gov contemporary
AP Chem
AP Art History
AP Stats
AP Comp Sci

it still really ****es me off that my school restricts students to a single science class a year and does not offer AP Eurio or AP World.

In School:
AP Stats
AP Calc AB
AP English lang
AP US govt

Outside:
AP Art History
AP Micro (maybe)

Physics (haven't decided on B or C), studio art, english lit, stats, biology.

How in the world do you people fit in 7 AP classes a year? Most of the AP classes at my school are taught only one period (so inflexible! augh!). Are your schedules just gonna work out fine? I mean, I had to drop AP Art this year cause it was the same period as BC calculus.

lol the way to take 8 APs is to do 4 on the side and 4 at school. Rape the 4 on the side by doing olympiads (this works only if you're doing math/science APs), and study as much as possible in the previous summer so you dont have to study during the year.

Take me for instance. I spent 7 hours a week for the summer studying for all 8 APs and spent about 20 mins a night on HW, and probably got 5s on all my exams, so it's not impossible...but then again 6/8 were math and science APs...

Anyway, I'm taking:

Economics (self, cancelled at school because of lack of interest)
Literature
Human Geography
US Government (self)

English Comp
Chemistry
US History
Calculus BC

--Is this going to be too hard of a schedule?

AP Gov't/AP Macro Economics
AP English Lit
AP World History
AP Music Theory
AP Physics C

None. :) And I'm happy about it.

Wow I'm surprised that some people are taking six even seven AP. Don't try to overwhelm yourselves. Anyways Good Luck. I'm only taking 3 next year. :P

For next year (senior year) I'm taking:
-AP Government
-AP English Literature
-AP Calculus AB (2 pds)

Yes, I was wondering also. My guidance only let us taking 6-7 periods. AP Cal is two periods so that basically took up my schedule.

Drop it and self-study it with a 5. Just read Barron's a few times and you're guaranteed a 5.

I'm taking
AP Chem
AP Biology
AP Calculus AB
AP Statistics
AP Government/Econ
Hopefully AP English II (not sure which ap test that is)

I'm also planning to take the Calc BC test instead of AB (no point if there's a subscore anyway) and Physics C Mech (maybe E&M) because my school doesn't offer them.

Unfortunatly my school is making some stupid changes and there is a large possiblility my classes wont fit. Another thing is AP classes can't start unless there are atleast 25 people signed up making it a close call on AP Stat. Lastly I probably wont get into AP English II, because I took regular English for an easy A and my portfolio looks horrible (most of the stuff in there was made up in the first 10 min of class before we had to turn it in). If any of this happens, I might just get bumped into AP Phyc, but I really don't want to.

Next year sound awsome!!

"all taken in school in a class WITH THE COURSE, the way the AP program was meant to be."

ummmm......did you ever consider the possibility that most of us come from schools where very few ap courses exist? and it clearly states on collegeboard.com that you can enroll in an independent study course. My school offers very little aps so if I have to self study them, that is what I'll do.

whats with this "meant to be" crap? LOL, if you can learn the material then why not take the exam? Some people are stuck in their pitiful delusions that a self study AP is not "proper"...oh well.

BTW, my revised list is looking like this:

US Gov
Psychology
Economics (Mac and Mic)
Human Geography
Literature

It will be my junior year so....

AP US History
AP Chemistry
AP Statistics

What is the best prep book brand for AP?

next year's my senior year...
AP English Lit
AP Environmental
AP Java
AP Physics C
AP Calc BC
AP Euro
AP Econ (self-study)

Senior courses

AP English Lit.
AP Calculus AB
AP Psychology
AP Biology
AP French

(these are all my school offers. I would take more if i could)....anyone have any suggestions for a self-study....i'm thinking AP Physics(my school only offers honors physics)
