Hey-???
I am going to try to self study ART history too!
What i am going to do is arrange appointments with my art teacher(he has a masters in art and art history) for guidence and suggetions on how to study. Maybe if is possible you should do the same with a art teacher or a history teacher with a strong background in art.
I am also going to go over the summer and the year to several art museums to look at art first hand.
I hope this helps you at all!

Misty_Rain217: You can buy the AP Art History books from McGraw Hill or Amazon. The title is: Art Across Time.

Thanks I am going to do that, I am just saying that I am doing other things that may help me learn more about art history. They may or may not help me but i thought going to museums and talking to my art teacher were good ideas that I wanted tio share with others.
Thanks-i knew there was an Ap Art history textbook-but did not know the title.

There are 3 main art history textbooks that most schools use: "Gardner's Art Through the Ages" by Kleiner and Mamiya, "Art History" by Stokstad, and "History of Art" by Janson. Anything else is considered crap by my teacher who has used all three books and has taught art history for over 25 years.

I'm not self-studying anything, but I'm taking AB Calc, AP Eng Language, AP Stat, AP Comp. Govment, and APUSH at school.

macr and micro and maybe us gov along with taking calc ab at school

any suggestions besides PR and the mankiw principles of macro/micro books?

Barrons is good for Macro and Micro!

o.O I'm self-studying AP Chem.

Recommend me some textbooks?

ap world history

I highly recommend self-studying for macro/micro (those two tests are super easy), and comparative government--especially if you're taking american government.

@Quesce: I'm attempting to self-study AP Chem next year too.. But I'm worried. I heard it was really hard to self-study... but... never know until you try right? '^^

Also self studying AP Calc AB and Computer Science AB (while taking computer science A)

Lucidity: Do you have msn? XD

Yes except I never use it lol.. I use AIM alot though... if you have that '^^

Anyway, check your private messages =P
