HELP~
If I can't get accept, I want to transfer in my second year or third year.

I picked University Park and Erie.

I got into University Park.

I chose these two because they're excellent for science.

D was accepted at UP, but on her app. she also listed the Altoona campus as her second choice. Altoona seemed like the most popular alternative to UP, among graduates from her high school that were PSU-bound. Although, I don't know how strong the particular majors are there; the best suggestion I could give is to go on the Penn State website and check out the links to the various branch campuses. Good luck.

Behrend and Altoona are both very nice campuses. Harrisburg is pretty nice too, AND the advantage there is that it's within spitting distance of Hershey Med Center. I've heard Berks campus is nice, and closer to you. Beaver, McKeesport, DuBois, New Ken aren't a whole lot to write home about. Fayette's not bad except it's in Uniontown. Tuff polishing a road apple.

Behrend is the strongest branch.

That depends. If you're talking weather, it's the "weakest." :)

Gotta love snow! It's eerie Erie, baby!

Or if you're coming from Philly, it's the most expensive, especially @ $2.35/gallon.

Now, if you're interested in polymers ... good stuff. Or wanna play small college hoops. Terrific.

They're football team sucks.

Heh. I mean academics wise.

I live in State College and have heard that our HS students who want to get out of Dodge for a year or two, but still take advantage of their parents' tuition benefit (i.e. discount), often apply to the Behrend campus.
