What are my chanaces for those CSU's

I’m an international student studying in an American curriculum school. I’m considering to apply for aerospace engineering in SJSU, SDSU, and CSULB. Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.6/4
SAT: 1020 ( consediring to apply for one in December if possible )
I took The AP courses of biology and chemistry and scored an A in both but did bad in the college board exams. And this year I’m taking AP Calculus AB.

CSU GPA? https://www2.calstate.edu/apply/eligibility-index/

for most programs, you’ll probably get into all three. a word of caution - AP Calc eats students collegiate dreams for breakfast. If you are admitted into one of the above schools and get a D one semester, they will yank your admission… seriously, there’s no upside to taking the course now. Will your school let you take AP Stat instead?

NCalRent they offered physics algebra based and economics but I decided to join calculus AB to challenge myself and see if I can keep up with engineering calculus.

i hope it works out.

Good luck

Gumbymom 3.65/4

So your EI is (3.65 x800)+ (1020)= 3940.

Both SDSU and CSULB will be tough.

For CSULB, you want an EI of 4000 to be competitive and SDSU around 4100+.
SJSU’s EI cutoff last year was 3800 so it looks like I it could be a Match.

Any chance you are retaking the SAT?

You might want to add Cal Poly Pomona to your list and also consider applying for Mechanical Engineering to a few Cal States that do not offer Aerospace. The Aerospace industry hires many ME’s.

Look at Cal State Fullerton, Chico, Sacramento, LA.

Thank you Gumbymom, I appreciate your help.
