What are my chance in getting in to Berkeley or any other UC's?

I just finshed 11th grade with a 4.0 overall gpa, in 9th and 10th grade all got was A's, B's, and C's and my gpa was a low 3.0. But junior year i got all A's and B (the A's was in Ap and Honors class) and bought my transcript gpa up to a 4.0 and i havent got my SAT score yet, but i think i did good. I have done 150+hours of volunteer service at Mercy Hospital, and about 70 hours of here and there (homeless shelter, aspca, old homes etc) I want to apply to to UC Davis, UC Irvine, and UC Berley. Also i am Energy and Utilities Academy, Class President of 2015, Link Crew, Leadership. And im in clubs such as Med Club, ASU, Key Club, Culture Clue

Do i have good chance?
this 4.0 gpa was my transcript unweighted GPA

originally it had gone up to 3.933 and then i took a online AP college psychology class at a local college and it bought it up to a 4.0

The A's were in AP and Honor Class so that counts as a 5.0 and I got B was in Spanish. both semeste

No score, no chance. ;)

What’s your normal GPA?
If you have a B or C your unweighted should never be a 4.0

what do you mean?

^ He is asking for you overll unweighed GPA in 4.0 max scale. You can never have uwGPA 4.0 if you have any B grades. When A for AP/Honor counted as 5.0, it is weighed GPA.

i was told that, with each 4.3 my transcript gpa went up .4 and both semsters?

Well a transcript GPA isn’t an Unweighted GPA, and I personally have never heard of that. It may be a thing your school does.

Simply take all grades (A=4,B=3,C=2,D/F=1) and divide them by the number of classes you’ve taken.

all my classes? from 9th?

^ Yes, but calculate them by semester (ie. 2 grades for year round courses) as some course are year round (2 semester) while others are only for semester.

Well if you’re only considering UCs, ignore 9th and you’ll have a UC GPA
