I am a junior and have a 91 weighted average(3.6) and got a 1520 on my sat(still taking a few more). All of my classes are ap and honors classes. I have many clubs and community service. I plan on taking liberal arts first semester. Can someone please let me know my chances?

Hi @Ryan66…my general answer is it honestly depends until we see your whole file and to which program you apply for. It sounds like you have been working hard so keep doing well. Our average for most program is a B+ GPA and about an 1100 WITHOUT writing on the SATs or a 25 on the ACTs. However, for averages for health sciences is different, nursing and OT is an “A-” and an 1180 on the SATs/26 ACTs, PT A- to A GPA with a 1220 on the SATs or 27 ACT, and for PA an “A” GPA with a 1250-1300 on the SATs or 28 on the ACTs.

Of course these are all averages, and that means it’s not a cut off or a one size fits all. A GPA doesn’t tell me a whole lot about a file but the quality of the classes taken, grades received in those classes over a period of time, among other things, give us much more information before we make a decision.
