As the time approaches, I get more and more nervous to discover whether or not I will receive an appointment to the United States Naval Academy. Please consider my stats and provide advice.
I am a Junior in high school, I am white, and I am from the west side of Indianapolis Indiana

Comments
-Despite not being a consistent athlete I am very athletic and still work out. I have a 5:00 mile time, 250 bench, and over 400 back squat. I am 6’0 195.
-My dad committed suicide when I was sophomore and I took on part of the financial burden of my family from there on out.
Update:
I should add that I do have a C on my report card. The max possible GPA for my Junior year I could receive is a 4.9 and I finished with a 4.0. That’s a 3.4 unweighted. Also the sports I played were Freshman year ONLY. So I’m not sure how the USNA would look at that, or how they would compare that with my PRT score (I will take the PRT this summer). Not being a athlete I feel is a huge loss to my argument for appointment. I hope that if I can attend Boy’s Nation that it might undermine my athletic and academic record. Thank you for your input, I do appreciate it. I think about the possibility of appointment everyday, and the thought of not receiving it is terrifying.
