In January, UC Berkeley sent me a supplement questionnaire- the borderline one to be exact. I did what I can to answer it honestly and to the best of my abilities. I treated this like another personal statement having my teacher and counselor proof read it!! My stats are:
3.8 GPA (UW) and 4.2 GPA (W). I did cheer leading all four years and one year of track and field. I am the president of cheerleading for four years (yes at my school we consider it a club) and a board member of Charity Club for two years. I have been a member of Key Club for 4 years. I have work experience and did 400 hours of community service. My SAT and ACT score (SAT: 1420, ACT: 20) are fairly low because I am not a good test taker. I thought my personal statement was not amazing but it is pretty good and eye-catching. Berkeley has been my dream school since elementary school. And I was really shocked when I found out that they're considering giving me a chance. Please let me know if you think I can actually score that admission ticket! I would really appreciate it! Btw please no mean comments

Also, I forgot to mention, I am top 5% percent of my graduation classing ranking 16 out of 300, which qualifies for ELC (top 9% gets guaranteed admission to one of the UC’s)

I think you definitely have a chance, or else they wouldn’t have sent you a supplemental questionnaire. Your ECs are pretty good and I think your ranking lessens the impact of the low test scores. I can’t for sure chance you since your case is really unique, but if your supplement was good then I’d say it improves your chances.
