Do you have any financial constraints?

I would suggest that you apply if you want to. However, you definitely need to be focusing your efforts on schools which are easier to get into.

I would put it as a high reach for you. As one example, prepscholar says about Middlebury College “You’ll need nearly straight A’s in all your classes to compete with other applicants”.

I would say that you are not foolish to apply – your stats are fine enough and you have a shot – but my guess is that you will not get it. That’s the definition of a high reach…

Are you a recruited lax player? Have you reached out to coach? If so, that would help. With lower GPA, it will be tough to get accepted.
Apply but do not expect the best. Make sure you apply to safety schools as well.
Really tough school to get into.
Best of luck

Explain why you want to go to Midd. What is it that you will bring to a student body of 2400 that around 8500 other applicants who will likely be rejected will not?

I’m not optimistic. However, if you have a great portfolio, that could turn the tide. Spend some time putting together the supplement- a few great cartoons could help a lot!
