So, I am a high school sophomore. I have all A's, a 5.06 GPA, and I got a 31 on my ACT. I am in many clubs that do community service throughout my town, and I am in things like the school musical crew, student council, choir, art, and Olympiad. Also, I have taken every advanced placement/honors class that my school has offered. By the time I am in college (2 1/2 years), I will have had 4 years of math, 4 years of english, 4 years of foreign language, 4 years of history, and 6 years of science (6 high-school level science classes). What do you think my chances are for getting into NYU? And, are there any scholarships/grants that I could get because of what I have listed here? Help is much appreciated.

It’s a bit early for you to be asking for chances, but…

NYU: low match if you keep your GPA at a 4.0 (or even if it drops a bit)

I think with your GPA you could apply for some higher ranked colleges. Just improve your ACT to a 33+.

No idea what scholarships/grants you could apply for, sorry. You’ve probably heard of the only one I can think of off the top of my head, and that’s National Merit (you just have to do well on the PSAT and fairly well on the SAT). But $2500 isn’t a whole lot considering NYU tuition is like $60000.

Don’t expect much help(financial aid) from NYU.

Agreed with Spirral, NYU is ranked among the worst schools for financial aid, so you’ll have to find scholarships through programs elsewhere

NYU: match
