your ACT score is better; submit that one. Also, what do you plan on majoring? Do you hold any leadership positions? Where do your passions lie?
You have excellent scores, the hook of a URM, and extra curriculars that could lend themselves to compelling essays. (What’s your prospective major?) I’d say you have a far better chance than most, and if not Stanford, then one of the other top universities in the country will no doubt want you. Good luck to you, and good job preparing.
Play the game smart. Don’t fixate on any school. Apply to Stanford if you like - yes, you do have a solid chance - but you could get into nowhere but Stanford, or everywhere except Stanford. It’s a crapshoot, so cast a wide net and don’t half ass any applications because nothing is a given these days.
Great stats, but remember each of the elites are looking for something unique. For Stanford, give considerable thought to your “intellectual vitality.” What makes your brain tick?
