Hello people of the World.
So, if I apply to UT I shall do so as an international student. I was born in the United Arab Emirates and lived there till I was 16. I moved to America in grade 11. My GPA in Dubai was 8.8 on a scale of 10. Now here is the PROBLEM...THE GRADING SCALE IN DUBAI WAS DIFFERENT THAN THE AMERICAN SCALE AND IF YOU USE SIMPLE MATH, AN 8.8 ON 10, IS A 4.4 ON 5. Also, I used a service called WES and my GPA adds up to 4.3 on the US scale. But, apparently my counselor doesn't think the same way. According to my school, my GPA is a 3.17. That is reallyy bad for regular UT applicants but I believe a 4.4 is really good.

So, do you think I have a chance? My class rank (due to the GPA) is 69%, I think(which also isn't that good and UT looks especially at that). And I have taken the SAT and my score is an 1800.

Do let me know if I could get in, any comment, no matter how bad it may be, is useful. Thanks :D I love you. :)
