I hope to apply to top schools like Georgetown, BC, Ivy’s specifically Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell among some other safety ones. What are my chances? If they are not good, what can I do to bring them up.
33 ACT (maybe 34 when june scores come out)
3.97 GPA- will be at a 4 by the end of 1st semester
APs- US history, comparative, bio, european history, english
ending high school with 5 years of spanish

member of nationally ranked model un team
2 year exec board member and 2 year president of service club
4 years field hockey and lacrosse (2 varsity)
hopefully interning with a political campaign this summer and next year
300+ hours of service- both at school, in the community and internationally
summer job working in a restaurant

Is your GPA weighted or unweighted?
It looks like you have fine chances at those schools. Your stats are great and your ECs match what’s expected at top25 schools- make sure you write genuine essays! They’ll help you stand out from the crowd.
What year are you in? What major?
Try to identify any hooks you might have like low income, URM, first gen, tri sport varsity athlete etc. There are lots of great students. Top scores and GPA only open the door. They won’t get you through it.
Your academic qualifications look pretty solid (if that is your UW GPA which I assume it is) and hopefully you get a 34+ on your ACT when June scores come out since 34 and 35 are usually around the 75% range for admits to these schools. You may want to look into taking some SAT II subject tests in history and literature if you are interested in political science as a possible major (which it looks like you are from your ECs). Your ECs look pretty centralized around your (I assume) area of interest in poli sci so I would say overall you have very good chances at these schools. Good luck! Ur solid in stats but ur ec’s might be a little weak. Your biggest one, model un, is a team activity so it might count a little less than other “nationally ranked” awards. But you definitely have a chance and should get into somewhere good!
