<p>I had over 100 hours of community service and participated in tennis for 3 yrs. No major awards. Essays were average, had it read by my counselors and mentors.</p>
<p>Slim to none chance for all… Maybe UCD, but still very low chances. SATs are lower than average for those schools, and you don’t have any leadership.
Are you applying to any other schools? I’d recommend adding some CSU’s to your list…</p>

<p>I know someone from my high school got into UCLA with a 1500 SAT(hispanic, single-parent household, low-income), and the year before that someone got into Berkeley with a 1700 SAT(he was Asian, well-off, not a URM, but had high GPA), but then again class val with a 2000+ SAT, sky-high GPA, lots of awards, etc was rejected by both UCLA and UCB.</p>
<p>I would say that UCLA are UCB are, indeed, reaches, but definitely not impossible.</p>
