<p>I have recently applied to UCSD, UCB, UCLA, and UCD.</p>
<p>I wanted to know what my chances are. (My major is Molecular biology for all of the schools)</p>
<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.98
Weighted GPA: 4.26
SAT score: 1850
Writing: 600
Math: 680
CR: 580</p>
<p>No SAT subject tests.</p>
<p>I had over 100 hours of community service and participated in tennis for 3 yrs. No major awards. Essays were average, had it read by my counselors and mentors.</p>
<p>Slim to none chance for all… Maybe UCD, but still very low chances. SATs are lower than average for those schools, and you don’t have any leadership.
Are you applying to any other schools? I’d recommend adding some CSU’s to your list…</p>
<p>I had leadership roles in clubs and student government just forgot to mention it. Yes I also applied to the Cal Polies and Long Beach.</p>

<p>Yes your GPA is excellent. I think (with the leadership) you have a good shot at UCD and at the Cal Polies…</p>
<p>It honestly depends. Are you a URM/1st gen/low income, etc?</p>
<p>I know someone from my high school got into UCLA with a 1500 SAT(hispanic, single-parent household, low-income), and the year before that someone got into Berkeley with a 1700 SAT(he was Asian, well-off, not a URM, but had high GPA), but then again class val with a 2000+ SAT, sky-high GPA, lots of awards, etc was rejected by both UCLA and UCB.</p>
<p>I would say that UCLA are UCB are, indeed, reaches, but definitely not impossible.</p>

UCs do not care if you are URM.</p>
