Hi. Well first off, I'm a student at a top California public school. I'm ranked 19th, and within the top 10 percent of students at my school.

UC GPA: 4.4
SAT: 2100
SAT II: 670, 690 (These are pretty weak, as I was very, very ill when I took these tests. But I'm planning to retake the 670 one, and get a 750+ on it.)
EC's: Varsity Tennis, President of 'Literary Scholars' club, President of 'Photography Club,' Vice President of 'Domestic Abuse Awareness Association,' Volunteer at UCLA Lab.

Also, if this helps, at my school usually around 20-25 get into UC Berkeley and UCLA; 35 into UCSD; 40 into UCI; and 45-50 into UCSC. (out of a class of 200 students).

I also wanted to mention that my rank is somewhat low in comparison to my UC GPA, because my 9th grade grades are a bit weak. I know that UC's only look at your 10th and 11th grade grades, and I got nearly straight A's in both years. In fact, several kids ranked higher than me actually have lower UC GPA's than I do.

Do UC's pay attention more to the UC GPA, than they do to your class rank? Will my low subject scores harm me? Thanks!
