What are my chances at USC, UofM, and NYU?

Hello, I’m a senior in high school looking at the following schools. I know nothing is for sure but I’d like some pointers for my applications and some estimated chances.

Three last mentions:

  1. Upward trend in GPA (3.7 hit hard in freshmen year)
  2. Will be applying regular decision to these colleges
  3. 4 teacher recommendations and 1 counselor recommendations (I think they should all be good)

Thank you!

I can only speak for UM, and I’d say even though your GPA is a little low (your ECs will help), you’ll have a fairly good shot with those harder classes. I would actually include that you tried to start a company because it shows colleges that you are willing to go out and try new things that you are passionate about.

You don’t say what school your applying to. But for lsa good shot since your instate. Engineering… Flip a coin. If your act is 34 or more than if course better chance.

agree with knowsstuff, it would be good if you mentioned the school or major, LSA, non-CS you’re in good shape for UM, NYU, USC would be a little tougher. If you’re applying for CS or engineering, UM and USC would be reaches, NYU may still be a match.

Hey all, thanks for the comments. I’d be going LSA, undecided
