What are my chances at William and Mary

Hi there!
I’m out of state but I’d really like to go to William and Mary. I’ll apply anyways, but what do people think and does anyone have any helpful advice to get in the school? Also, my school is small and only offers 4 AP classes… will that really hurt my chances?

All honors and advanced classes

12 Years on Club swim team
8 years state qualifier (no desire to swim in college)

lots of fun science camps

Thank you!

I think William and Mary is definitely a solid match school for you - 50/50 chance of admission, maybe a little higher.

In my opinion, William and Mary is in your range. Based off of the information provided, you’d be a strong candidate for admission. Both your math score and your writing score are within range and your reading score is above average for admission there. I don’t think having 4 AP’s is going to hurt you because colleges should be looking at your curriculum and if I am not mistaken, they should know those were the maximum number of AP’s one could take. This is a question you might want to ask your college counselor. If your SAT II’s are anything like your bio score, then I think that should additionally help.
