Bump…

bummmmmpppppppp

Raise those SATs and get some more bulls#@t awards, then you’ll have a real shot.

Lol, ******** awards ? I already have a good amount, and they’re not ******** by any means.

^ I think he or she was joking.

Although your GPA started out pretty low, it is very good that you are on an upwards climb. You have very good extracurriculars. And I think that you have a very good shot in these schools. Be passionate. Good luck!

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/941645-chance-me-ivies-amherst-uchicago.html

Thanks I’ll go chance you now.

that’s a great SAT score and scope of extracurriculars. but i’m a bit concerned about your GPA. if it were more consistent over the years, then your chances would be much higher.

People like you depress me. Unless you’re skewing those extracurriculars, you’d be well qualified for any of these schools and I’m sure you’re in at a good selection. Oberlin, UVA, and Vassar should come easily. Tufts, Bowdoin, and Carnegie Mellon will be a little more difficult but by no means unreachable, and the rest are hard for everyone. But particularly with the increasing popularity of environmentally friendly measures/majors at a lot of these schools, I don’t see why you wouldn’t get several very attractive choices.

I’d like to think that my 4.0 while taking 4 AP’s, 2 H’s and focusing on EC’ that I love shows my true capabilties. I know that many students’ grades drop as h.s goes on but mine improved which I hope will help me when compared to those students, even if my GPA is a bit lower.

Hm…what exactly does a college counselor do? I don’t want to waste my dad’s money.

hey, u sound like u have a great chance at all of them! ur SAT scores are great. I was jsut wondering what prestigious novel contest you won? i just finished a novel and want to get an agent, but i’m afraid my age will be a problem (only 16). If a won a contest, that’d be a great way to get my book out there!

Thanks!

Randomsparkle: I’ll PM you.

Bump.
