You should be a lock for UCSD or any of the less selective campuses. LA and Berkeley are worth a shot.

Basically:

UCM: Safety
UCR: Safety
UCSC: Safety
UCSB: Low match
UCI: Low match
UCD: Low match
UCSD: match
UCLA: high match
UCB: high match/low reach

ohh thank you! Haha, cause I see people from my school with a 2300 sat and 4.3 gpa rejected from san diego so im like oh shoot lol

People these days are getting more competitive each year

Do you mind checking CSU chances or Ivy?

The most selective CSU, Cal Poly SLO, would be a low match for you. Every Ivy would be a mid-to-high reach.

Arent ivy’s much harder to get into doe?

That’s why I said reach and not match. In terms of numbers:

Cornell: ~20% chance
UPenn: ~15%
Brown: ~12%
Dartmouth: ~8 %
Columbia: ~5%
Princeton: ~3%
Yale: Not likely.
Harvard: Not likely.

Subjective, of course.

Oh I have a question, is GPA really everything? Like does a 4.3 really make much of a difference than a 4.2?
