[CSUMentor - Plan for College - High School Students - Eligibility Index](<a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>GPA Calculator | CSU)
Use these directions to calculate your Index. Note the CSU system calculates GPA based on only college prep courses taken in 10 & 11 grade, they also eliminate + and from the calculation. Your CSU GPA could be 3.5 or 2.8 - please calculate this for yourself.

SJSU used to post the threshold by major. They were all over the map. Some were just the system floor of 2900 while others approached 4000.

A 3.0 and 950 M&R SAT generates an index of 3350 which will get you into some programs and not others at SJSU. Sonoma, Monterey and Sac are other N Cal options reachable with that index.

What programs might I be able to get into with those stats?

These are last year’s thresholds. Calculate your Index and see.
Expect them to creep up a bit.
