Hey everyone. I have around 6 weeks to go until I hear back from Seattle U, and UW-S may not get back to me until June/July. There’s a lot of anticipation and nervousness associated with this, so I’d like some help determining what my odds are for even being admitted into either of these schools. SU specifically is my top choice.
- 21 year old white female, high school graduate of 2016.
- Graduating with an AA-DTA from my WA State community college this June (2018).
- Applying for Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts major at SU and Women's Studies at UW-S.
- Phi Theta Kappa member.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.47. I had one weak quarter, but explained that as having lost a family member during that time + was recovering from surgery. I've had an upward trend since, on par with my grades prior.
- I'm the first person in my family to graduate high school and go on to college.
- Strong essays.
- No ECs outside of PTK and no letters of recommendation.
I would just like to know if admission to either of these schools is feasible- If they would be considered reaches or matches. Thanks!
