What are my chances for these schools?

Hi I'd appreciate if you could help me out figuring my chances for Maryland[ul]
[]Senior, Black Male
[]UW: 3.5 | W: 4.2
[]APs: Japanese, Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Statistics, Literature, Calculus
[]Honors: All core classes that were not APs (Geometry, Chemistry, etc.)
[]Major: Computer Science
[]SAT: 1800, hope to increase to 2000
[li]ECs:[/li]Japanese Club (4 years)
Robotics Team (2 years)
Japanese National Honor Society (2 years)
National Society of Black Engineers(2 years)
Computer Club(2 years)

[li]Volunteer Work:[/li]- 38 hours @ local television station

[li]Work Experience:[/li]- Taco Bell
- Target

[li]Schools[/li]- University Of Maryland (In-State)
- Georgia Tech
- UCLA
- Penn State
- Ohio State
- University of Florida
[/ul]
Also, my high school requires us to do a Research Practicum, which is basically an extended science project that involves lab experience with mentors and things and we have to submit it to an international science fair thing.

I appreciate all help!

Penn State and UMD are matches, sorry I don’t know enough about the others. Increase your SAT and you should be fine.

Could use more information about your AP test scores, and your SAT should be a little higher to be solid for the more competitive schools on your list. Your ECs don’t show much leadership but you still have a decent profile that should be good for UMaryland, GA Tech, Ohio State, and University of Florida. Penn State most likely too, but UCLA is much higher of a reach. Hope this helped, good luck with everything! Chance back if you’ve got a sec please!
