colleges:
Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo
UC Irvine
UC Davis
UCLA
University of Southern California
Carnegie Mellon (architecture)
U. of Chicago
Georgetown U.
i know some of these^ are extremely difficult to get in, but, anything can happen
Im planning to major in either whatever major I need for forensics pathology or architecture.

Any other schools to recommend?
Plus, is taking the ACT a good idea?

Please make me cry or surge with hope :] and of course, be honest.

I think Carnegie Mellon, U. of Chicago, and Georgetown U are all reaches, but the others are probably decent matches.

Bump…

UChicago, Georgetown, CMU, and to some extent Cal Poly are reaches if you don’t bring those scores up, but everything else seems OK.

Once again, U of C, G-Town, and CMU are all high match/low reach schools. I would say definetly take the ACTs if you get the oppurtunity. A lot of people do decent on the SATs, but are able to blow the ACts out of the water. You may be one of those people. Very Impressive ECs.

I’m only familiar with UChicago, but the essays matter a whole ton. Bring your SAT scores up, and write, write, write!!

Thank you for your advice!

Don’t a lot of the schools you are applying to not have architecture? Where are Cornell, syracuse, and RISD, to name a few?

hmm, i know that cal poly, USC ,UCLA, and Carnegie have architecture schools. im still wavering between architecture and another major that the other colleges offer.

i dont know much about cornell and syracuse, but ill research them a bit.
Thanks.
