What are my chances for UIUC, GTech, Cornell ??

Hey there . I've just one semester left to complete my undergrad in CS. My current CGPA is 3.89 out of 4.0. Got three conference publications and one journal. I'm preparing for GRE and hopefully will take the test as soon as I complete my eighth semester - that is in November . I'm planning to apply at the following schools -

UIUC
GTech
Cornell
UVA
UCR
UCI
UT Arlington
UT Dallas
Purdue
Mcgill
UBC

What are my chances in these schools??

Chancing for grad school is murky at best but I guess you have a chance everywhere you listed.

Do you have a supervisor in mind at McGill or UBC?

Hi guys! Before I ask my question, I’ll give you a brief intro about myself so that you have a better insight before answering me: I am an international student and have just completed my grade 12 this year. I recently gave the SAT reasoning test and am intending to give the subject tests in October or November. I want to major in business economics and public policy. I have decided to take a gap year.
Question: if I apply for the fall of 2014, would the ‘gap year’ aspect be a black spot on my application? Also, for the aforementioned concentration, which subject test should I opt for apart from math level 2?

Also I am new to CC, so I am sorry to interrupt someone else’s thread. It’s rude, I guess. I think I’ll take some time to learn the CC ethics.

Human Computer Interaction in my prime interest. I’ve been working on ethnographic studies of Illiterate people’s technology pattern since I was a sophomore student. All of my publications are in HCI. I’ll be more than happy to work with Joanna McGrenere or Chris Pal (McGill).
