In state

let me know what you think!

In-state helps, and minority+alumni are decent hooks, but the SAT really hurts. Is there any way that you can take it again? uMich will be a very big reach unless you can get near 1300, which would at least bring you to the 25th percentile or so of their scores. If you don’t think that’s a reasonable possibility for the SAT, maybe try the ACT to see if that works better.

The mid 50 SAT this year was 1350-1530. Even near 1300 would not make it. Even if you can bring the score to 1400+, your GPA is still a problem as it is below the 25th percentile.
