What are my chances for USC and UC Berkeley?

Hi! College apps are almost here and I was wondering what my chances are of getting into USC and UC Berkeley with my major being in Business Admin. and Management. I seriously don’t know what to expect >< I’m satisfied with my grades but my test scores and activities throw me off.

Freshman year, my first semester GPA was 3.80 and second semester was 4.00.
I took Beginning Band, English Honors, Biology, P.E., Geometry, and Spanish 1.

Sophomore year, my first semester GPA was 4.17 and second semester was 4.17.
I took English Honors, World History, Spanish 2, Intermediate Band, Chemistry Honors, and Algebra 2 Honors.

Junior year, my first semester GPA was 4.17 and second semester was 4.33.
I took AP Chemistry, American History, P.E., Spanish 3, AP English Language, and Trigonometry.

For my incoming senior year, I’m planning to take AP American Gov/Econ, AP Psychology, AP Statistics, Elementary Calculus, English, and Technical Theater. Hopefully, I’ll get straight A’s, but if I can’t, then I’ll try to get at most one B.

The last time I checked, my class rank was 46 out of 573 students in my junior year, and I’m in the top 8%tile in my class. My first SAT score is 1500; I’m still waiting for my other SAT score and also my ACT score. I will be on my school’s color guard team for three years (We’re pretty much a student-run performance group. While other groups have coaches and choreographers to help, we have to do everything by ourselves. Things such as setting up fundraisers, choreographing our routines, holding meetings and practices, etc) . I’ve volunteered at my local library every summer since freshman year and I’ve also been on many service clubs at my school such as key club, interact club, etc. I’ve also attended art school for almost three years, I don’t know if that will make an impact, though.

Any thoughts or advice?

There is a separate forum for chances guessing. Your grades are meaningless if we don’t know the scale.

You can’t be directly admitted to Berkeley Haas, you have to transfer in once you are admitted. See the website. If you are out of state you will want to calculate your UC weighted GPA. But test scores are too low, they are around 50 percentile of college bound students.

UC GPA calculator: http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

What is your unweighted GPA? All that can be said is you have a competitive GPA but SAT needs to be in the 2100+ range for a decent chance at either school.

How do your parents plan to pay for your education? In state?

Is that SAT score out of 1600 (ie. Math+CR) or out of 2400?
