I’m currently an RBS-Newark Student looking to transfers to New Brunswick.
I read that the minimum GPA to be considered would be a 3.5 GPA but to SECURE a seat, I would need a 3.7 + GPA.
Transfer requires at least 2 Pre-Requisite classes but I’ll have 4 completed by the end of the Spring semester.
I’m scared I would not get in even if I reach the minimum of 3.5.
Would it best to transfer to SAS NB which requires 3.1GPA and then come Junior Year, transfer into RBS-NB (SAS students need a 3.0 GPA) because it’ll be easier
OR
Should I just stick to with the first route of RBS-Newark to RBS-NB?
Does RBS NB take preferences of RBS-Newark than SAS NB since we’re already in RBS?
While I prefer to get in RBS-NB from the first shot, I would rather get into SAS than not get into New Brunswick at all.
I live in New Brunswick and I wasn’t admitted RBS-NB or SAS-NB Senior year of HS. It’s such a hassle- time and money wise to commute to Newark… I really need to get into New Brunswick but I don’t know what route to take to get there.
RBS-NWK ----> RBS- NB
or
RBS-NWK ----> SAS- NB ----> RBS-NB
My advisor told me that those who take the second route usually don’t get into RBS-NB which means they’ll be stuck in SAS for another year.
