(i Also am a legacy at Syracuse)

Do i have a shot at any of these schools?

What is your unweighted GPA?

It’s somewhere around 3.7

your chances are good. very, very, good. My cousin was accepted to GW and I’m not sure what her gpa is, but her extras were good. You could probably do it too. Also, she was accepted to McGill. Maybe look at that.

The only school on your list that I’m familiar with is Tulane and I think that you have a decent chance of getting in.

Georgetown, UVA, UNC are reaches. UVA and UNC are very tough on out of state applicants. Excellent chances at Syracuse, Clemson and UNCW. Very good chances at GWU and Miami. Not sure on the others. Best of luck!

Thank you! But any idea on UNC instate?

You have a good chance at getting into some of those schools. Make sure that you apply to reach, target and safety schools since competition is fierce. I’ll give you my best guess of the schools I know of. I did really well in picking schools for my boys.

UNC- reach
Georgia- target
Georgetown- reach
UVA- reach
U.Miami- target
Tulane- target
Syracuse- target
George Washington- target

You need some safety schools since every year there are kids who get denied to all.
Good luck, it’s a long and stressful process.
