I am really smart and even though I barely do any work I am in the top half of my class. I got a 1450 out of 1600 on the SAT (510 math, 450 verbal, 490 writing), which is considered extremely good.
I play on the football team.
I have a B minus average.
I am very popular and I know I’ll be able to charm my interviewers.
I got suspended for posession of coke last year, but my record gets cleared at 18.
My parents are rich so I know I’ll be able to afford a good school. I get 300 dollars allowance a week.
I spend my summers playing football, I hope I can play college ball. I am a linebacker and I hope to be a starter next year.
I want to know what my chances are at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Brown (my first choice), Dartmouth, Penn, and Notre Dame.
Thanks,
Carl

yea..something smells a little funny and i dont think its that coke

Dead give away is the inclusion of Indiana. Ewww. Not a bad school of course, but not in the same company of the others and not a particularly good football school either!

It's a joke. If you look at his PSAT thread, you'll know he's kidding.

Oops I accidentally included IU which is a great school but my dad went to Purdue so he refuses to pay for IU.

I was actually asking for a friend with my PSAT thread.

So, what are my chances?

Thanks.

Carl.

Depends. With the coke thing, are you the prez/founder of your school's drug society and/or local representative of a Colombian cartel? Colleges like leadership roles...

Hey, I made a mistake. If it comes up, I'll just tell them that the drugs belonged to a friend. I'm totally clean now.

-Carl

Nah, just say you didn't "knowingly or intentionally use cocaine". Works everytime man!

Harvard - MATCH
Yale - MATCH
Princeton - MATCH
Stanford - SAFETY
Brown - SAFETY
Dartmouth - SAFETY
Penn - SAFETY
Notre Dame - ULTRA SAFETY

You have a 90% chance of getting in all those schools ;-)

Awesome. What's the big deal about applying to college if it's so easy to get into those schools?

I guess most people don't have my SAT score. It's weird, because they've made it a lot easier with the writing section.

I really don't see what the big deal is.

I'll have a lot of fun at Brown.

hahahahahahaha, i get it now

seriously, though, it's all a conspiracy. you don't actually have to go to college. ooo hey, don't bother applying, why don't you just play football for a living?

Exactly what afaforce said. Don't even bother going to college. I'm sure with those stats you can right off start a business making billions of dollars, or even become president, or you can just turn pro and go straight for the nfl after college.

since when did 510 + 450 = 1450? I don't want to read your garbage.
Go get even richer playing pro ball and bribe your way into becoming ambassador to china or something

It's 510 plus 450 plus 490. You forgot to count my writing score, which brings me up to an elite 1450.

Carl, i'm surprised you didn't list Oxford in England. That'd be another quality safety to add to your list.

Carl, I think Harvard at least require you be able to add up the total possible scores on the SAT. You'd scored 1450 out of 2400, not 1600.
That'll put you just among the elites, not the super-elites.

Hahahaha, A+ post.

"It's 510 plus 450 plus 490. You forgot to count my writing score, which brings me up to an elite 1450. "

Uh-huh... You're like 50+ points below the national average... LMFAO... You don't have a chance at all. Dieser Faden ist fröhlich.

What? My parents said that a 1450 is really good.
