To be honest, your chances are not great. There seem to a very large number of students from India with perfect stats applying for computer science. It’s almost cliche. These schools are all very difficult to get into. Your 600 is english will separate you from the pack but not in a good way. It’s a very low score for most of those schools, and they won’t ignore it just because you are applying for computer science.
What does it mean when you put fin aid in parentheses at the end? Does that mean you will need financial aid? Most of these schools do not give any financial aid to international students.
Miracles happen. You could still get in, but I hope you have safeties in India.
Most of the universities on your list are public colleges that will not give you any financial aid. And as the previous poster mentioned, that 600 is low for a highly competitive major such as CS.
Tell us what you can afford, though, and folks here may have other suggestions for places, most likely private colleges, where you might have slightly better odds. They likely won’t be in the top 100, though.
@delocalisedpi UIUC is also a public university and will not offer financial aid to out-of-state or international students. I believe your cost of attendance will be in the mid $50,000/year range, not including travel, visa, dorm room supplies, laptop, or miscellaneous expenses.
