What are my chances of a good school/ivy league?

I currently attend a preperatory performing arts high school as a junior, majoring with a concentration in music - violin. I transfered from an academic excellence public high school after my freshman year. After considering many conservatories, I have realized that my best bet is to major in a solid academic subject hoping that it will open up many opportunities up for me (although I did hear about the Julliard-Columbia plan which intrests me).

GPA: Freshman Year - 4.0 unweighted (weighted with 4 honors classes)
Sophmore/Junior Year - The high school I attend now does not have GPA or class rank due to so many transferring students, but Sophmore year I made all A's in academics and arts classes & a B in a college italian class. So far, we have not recieved our first report card, but I think I have A's (B+ in college italian)

AP Classes: Unfortunatley our school only offers 3 AP courses (english, calculus and us history), but I am currently taking AP English IV. Senior Year I will be taking AP Psychology, AP English V and AP Calculus.

Awards: Freshman Year - International Foreign Language Award for Latin

Extracurricular: As a violin major, my major intrests and spare time are devoted to practicing and many school related music groups.
Freshman Year: School Symphony Orchestra
Secretary of Red Cross Club
Academic Team - General Knowledge
All County Orchestra - Honors
Western Regionals Orchestra - Honors

Sophmore Year: Yearbook
School Symphony Orchestra

Junior Year: President of the Community Outreach Comittee
School Democrats Club
Yearbook
Food Service Comittee
School Newspaper - Head Advertiser and Columnist
Volunteer at Red Cross 4hrs./week

SAT: I just took the new SAT as a diagnostic; first time taken and an incoming junior. Math - 580, Verbal - 510, Writing - 580. I am actually in the process of being diagnosed with a reading disability and will probably get 50 extra minutes on the test, which will help my score for future tests. In addition, I am going to take the princeton review course, which should also help improve my grade.

Summer:
Freshman Year - attended UNCG music camp 1 week and NCSA summer session for 3 weeks

Sophmore Year - attended the Brevard Music Center for 7 weeks

Junior Year - thinking about Meadowmount Music School, Tanglewood Music Festival, or a summer session at Columbia University and take some classes.

I know I'm only a junior, but based on my stats what would be a realistic goal? What should I do this summer that would help my chances of getting into a great school? Do I have a shot at the ivy leagues or columbia university? If not, what would I have to do?

Boost the CR+Math score by about 300 points.

no chance in hell unless you up your sat's by at least 200 points in each category, plus, u need to diversify ur extracurriculars, it's great that you're musically affluent, but what the hell else have you done with your life besides violin and red cross volunteer?

your SAT scores are a bit low, but don't worry, you have another year! If I had the luxury of time, I'd definitely be prepping for SAT I since I did so poorly myself :[

guys.. dont overlook the straight A fact. music is a talent , potentially a hook, and hooked students don't need the average SAT scores. although I agree you should raise your SAT by about 300 points combined at least but keep up the good work and present your talent as well as you can.

being in an performance arts school I think we can make some excuseto the focus of EC, I mean being focused and passionate about one thing is often better than being all over the place with ECs. also its not like he/she doesn't have anything else. I'd say yearbook/newspaper can both be pretty demanding ECs on top of the music focus.

I'd say you are looking good if you can get those SAT up a bit.. keep up the music .
