Hey everyone. As you may already know the decisions for University of Illinois are this Friday at 4 PM. I am extremely nervous to whether I am going to get in. I would like it if you guys could somewhat predict if I will be admitted. Here are my stats.
Residency: Illinois In-State Resident
ACT Score: 27 Composite (Eng 26 Math 33 Read 22 Sci 25) Writing 8
Class Rank: 88/676 Which is the top 13 percent or 87th percentile
GPA Unweighted: 3.6
GPA Weighted: 3.9
Major: Chemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
My GPA has an upward trend in weighted GPA for all 3 years. My unweighted GPA has a slight downward trend from freshman to sophomore year, but it jumps very high up from sophomore to junior year.
Honors/AP Classes Taken: Honors Algebra 2, Honors Chemistry, Honors Political Science, Honors Pre-Calculus, Honors Humanities, Honors Physics, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, and AP Statistics. My grade in AP Chemistry if it matters, was a B first semester and an A- second semester.
My Extra Curriculars are pretty basic, but I have enough I think. I have marching band, jazz band, pep band, national honor society, science national honor society, and Tri-M Music National honor society. I also have around 5 hours of community service. I also had a job for about 2 months during last summer, but I quit due to timing issues at the beginning of the school year. It was about 15 hours per week.
That is about all I have to say. I am so scared about whether I will get in. This Friday I am most likely going to be shaking all day. If I don’t get in I will be depressed for a long time, because U of I is definitely in my top 3. This is along with University of Minnesota Twin-Cities, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I was accepted at Minnesota, and deferred for early decision at Madison. Please tell me your honest opinions!!! I would really to know!!!

Urbana’s ACT ranges from 27-31 I think so you fall within that range. Also, since you’re in state your chance should be pretty well. Urbana accepts more than 60% (over 20,000 students out of 30,000) of applicants by the way, so it’s as if everyone that applies has a pretty good chance.
@Dhruv97 Thank you for commenting. Anybody that tells me I have a shot makes me feel a lot better. I really hope I get in and your are correct that I have a good chance. I really hope other people know if I stand a chance

I believe you have a fairly good chance, your ACT may be on the low side but you should still I think you should be accepted.
