What are my chances of getting accepted to Rowan University (NJ)?

<p>Background: HS Graduate, Single mother, mixed Race of African Amer. and Caucasian, and current attending CC. </p>

<p>I will be transferring (if accepted) for the Fall 2014. I my current GPA is a 2.9 with only 5 classes taken so far my first year. I received an A for writing 1, B for writing 2, microeconomics I receieved a C, communications I receieved a B+ and in Western Civ I received a C+. Since I only had 15cred. completed by the time I applied to Rowan, they took into account my HS grades which were a 3.2GPA and my SAT scores were 550 MATH, 520 READING, and 470 WRITING. Of course I wrote in the personal statement about how I have been adjusting well to college work and still being able to handle my son and work.</p>

<p>Do you think I will have a good chance of being admitted?</p>

<p>yes, you have very good chances of getting in. :slight_smile: Please come back to post your final results, it’ll be very useful for other students, especially transfers since there are so few stats.</p>

<p>I recieved a letter today that I couldn’t be accepted into their college of business (because there is a prerequiste for a class I have not taken yet) but they will reevaluate my application for another major, so I chose to go undeclared and I will declare myself as an accounting major once I college Calculus. Emailed admissions and she said I will most likely get accepted but I will post soon!!</p>
