What are my chances of getting accepted to WUSTL?

<p>I'm an African American female Junior here are my stats
-rank:9/504
-gpa un-weighted 4.0
-AP's APHG-5 APWH-4
currently in AP English and APUSH
planning on taking AP Bio, AP English and AP Calculus next year
-SAT -700 -750 -750
-ACT 32</p>

<p>-captain of color guard (numerous awards)
-volunteer at local hospital and therapeutic recreation camp for kids with special needs over the summer
-PALS (mentoring for kids at elementary school)
-VP of HOSA
-VP of NHS
-member of National Spanish Honor Society
-planning to do research over the summer as a Welch's scholar, although I know this is a very hard program to get into!</p>

<p>This has been my dream school since 8th grade!!! I hear that showing interest is key to getting accepted, but I live in TExas and don't really have the money to fly out there numerous times. How can I show interest without actually going to many WUSTL events?</p>

<p>And what are some things I could improve by now and next year to hopefully increase my chances?</p>

<p>Check out their summer programs. Very good way to get acquainted if possible. I believe you stay on campus for a week or two.
Try for bluebonnet state if possible (they have a scholarship just for girls state).
The summer research would be great.
You have wonderful service hours maybe just try more leadership opportunities.
Definitely apply ED.</p>
