What are my chances of getting in UT Austin

Black male in top 11%. 1700 SAT (600 math 600 reading 500 writing). 25 on ACT. Tennis for 3 years. NHS and French NHS. State championship in robotics. I volunteer (about +50 hrs). I have work experience. Taking 2 AP courses (both high A's), 2 Dual cred, 2 PAP. GPA 4.7.

Honestly it is probably a reach, even if you are a texas resident. Since you don’t qualify for automatic admittance, which is top 9 percent, then your application is reviewed holistically and your test scores are on the low side. UT does not consider race in its admissions process.

Come from low income family, single mom, in state student.
Majors: Computer science, software engineering
College of choice: UT cockrell school of engineering, or college of natural science

lol, maybe natural science definitely not cockrell bro. And to be honest, I don’t think that you have much of a chance of being accepted to the university itself. Your SAT is low, much lower than the average for a non-auto admit brah. I would consider Texas A&M University.
