What are my chances of getting into Boston College?

Hello, I am currently enrolled at quinsigamond community college and will be transferring next fall,Boston College is my top choice and I was wondering what my chances are of getting in.
I have 3.46 Gpa and have had straight A’s my last two semesters
I am tri lingual
I have some extra curriculars
In my college career i received two C’s and one D but they are all in math and my major is political science (which has nothing to do with math)
My college grades were awful…I had 2.1 gpa and did not even attempt the SAT’s
I have strong writing skills so the essay should be a breeze and I have a recommendation from one of the most well respected professors in my school.
Please give some insight as to what my chances are! Thank you! p.s dont be afraid to be brutally honest.

Correction* my HIGH SCHOOL grades were awful, in highschool i received a 2.1 NOT COLLEGE. sorry for the confusion

Average test scores for BC’s Class of 2021 are SAT 1369 and ACT 32.

im applying to the woods college which does not require SAT scores… having said that my highschool transcript is still required. Do you think this will hurt my chances?

I’m sorry; I don’t know anything about the Woods College of Advancing Studies.

There are a few older discussions about Woods.

Apparently, it is a school for nontraditional students. No undergraduate housing is provided.

Good luck!

As a transfer, I know that the numbers of the average accepted student are low- especially with a well below average hs gpa. Also transferring is becoming more competitive; last year only had like 70 spots spread across two years. I had just under a 3.8 and was waitlisted, so you would be at a mid to high reach. I would recommend applying to other schools that are more friendly towards transfers in terms of acceptance rates.
