What are my chances of getting into Columbia so far?

Hi, I'm a sophomore in high school and my dream right now is to get into Columbia University. I'm going to move to New York after i graduate because I'm really tired of living in Florida and because my entire family pretty much lives there, so i have to pick a school in New York regardless but Columbia is the one i REALLY want. So far I have...
3.84 unweighted GPA, 4.2 weighted
all honors and AP classes
Straight A's
im a part of a few things like my schools math club and band
I speak spanish fluently and I really good at playing the flute and piano
Taking a few online classes this summer
SAT and ACT practice will be this summer
and i'll start community service during the spring of my Junior year

I dont think its nearly enough, so can anyone give me any tips?

You should probably try a more recent section. This is for the class of 2012, as in applied two years ago. Try either 2014 or the main section of Columbia’s forum.

That being said I’ll give you a shot. As a sophomore without SAT/ACT’s, it’s difficult to evaluate your chances, however, you have some improvements you could bake now. You definitely need to up your Extra Curriculars. If you already know what you want to do as a career, or you have huge passion for something, try volunteering in that. (I would start sooner than spring of your junior year if you can) You’re going to read all over this forum that its about quality, not quanity, so get lots of hours in a select few.

You didn’t really mention your high school classes, but try to take the most competitive classes you can, while still maintaining your grade point average. Again, as you read around in other chance threads, grades are a big factor.

2200 sats (or 1460 out of 1600)
my GPA is a 94 unweighed
however, my sat subject tests are harsh- 600 on history and a 630 on biology
my extracurricular - soccer team, environmental committee, model UN, science league, and a numerous amount of community hours.
I’m on the nation honor society…
My AP’s - US History and AP Language and Composition (still waiting on grade probably 3-5 on both)…
I plan on taking AP Bio an AP Literature in September (senior year)…

Does Columbia sound right for me?
