Volunteered at an Ecology Research Lab at local university
Working on a research project involving primary productivity in aquatic ecosystems
Performed in a benefit concert to raise funds for a local charity</p>

<p>great scores! If Columbia is your first choice, you should definitely apply early as the admit rate is much more favorable early vs regular. Being a minority will definitely help too. Best of luck with everything!</p>
