What are my chances of getting into Ivy League or highly selective schools with this schedule/score?

I am going into my junior year of high school, and I was really debating if I should take AP English Language or Honors English 12. I really want to go to a highly selective school, so what are my chances if here are the classes I’m taking/ going to take? (not saying I WILL get in, but just stand chances? I’m never expecting to get into a prestigious school).
Freshman year:
English 9 Honors
Algebra II Regular
Trigonometry Regular
Biology Honors
History 9 Honors

Sophomore year:
English 11 Honors
Pre-Calculus Honors
AP Chemistry
AP World History
German 10

Junior Year:
English 12 Honors
AP Calculus BC
College Physics
AP US History
College German

Senior Year (I’m planning to take):
AP English Literature
AP Statistics
National Issues Honors
Economics Honors
AP Biology

I have a 99.6 weighted average and a 4.43 weighted GPA. I received a 5 for my AP World AP exam and a 4 for my AP Chemistry exam. I had a 780 for SAT Chemistry and 750 for SAT Math I. I have not taken the SAT yet, but my scores for my practice tests are very constant at around 2160. I am in no ways a top student, and I’m not even good at sports or anything. I do dance and I play piano, and I have done gymnastics before. I’m in 3 clubs in school and is the treasurer in one of them, and I volunteer at a local community center. Please help me out! And can I please know that if senior year counts? Thank you very much

Hi your curriculum seems fine but if you intend to apply to the ivy leagues you are a typical applicant. Your test scores especially SATs needs to be 2200+ to even be considered. I know kids who were the valedictorian of their class/ outstanding test scores that get denied. To stand out at schools like that you have be some kind of innovator; the change that will drive our future and make major impact on the envi/soc/pol etc. At ivys and top schools understand that yes numbers matter but everyone else has the same if not better so it matters more what you do outside of the classroom. Your ECs are a little weak, try to find a high leadership position in one club and carry that further.
Best of Luck!

You have good stats, so i definitely recommend applying. but you have to keep in mind that everyone applying will also be competitive. If you have any strong passions or interesting projects you have or want to work on/ grow with the university, highlight that so that they see you are determined to do something and bring something that makes you different than the average hard worker. You can try networking with the schools you want to go to see what you need through schoolinks.com. Also senior and the classes you take do matter. Second semester grades not as much…

Good Luck

Thank you!

I hope I really do get in a good school!
