What are my chances of getting into Loyola Marymount University LA?

LMU is my number one choice, its honestly perfect to me but i am so nervous because I am currently a second semester junior and i am worried that I won't get in. My stats are-
GPA: 3.5
SAT score: 1820
ExtraCurricular: Volleyball team, club volleyball for 4 years, Golf team, worked at a golf camp 2 years, internships, summer jobs, community service, clubs at school, girls acapella 3 years, chorus 3 years

i just don't know whether i should try and put more on the extracurricular aspect of my application, because that is definitely a part i am worried about. everything basically scares me about applying to this school. Do you think I have any chance to get into LMU at all?
If not, What are some other colleges/univerisites in the Los Angeles/SoCal area that I would stack up for? That is my ideal location.
Thank you!

A stronger SAT would help but, I think you’ve got a good shot at LMU. Maybe add USD, CSU Long Brach and CP Pomona

I think you have a good chance, especially with all the extra curriculars you have. One of the best tips I received was from someone who used to be on the parent board at LMU: focus your essay on something you feel very passionate about (I wrote mine about a place I volunteer at). The essay is one of the most important portions of your application because they want to know what you care most about, aka what you’re going to bring to their university. Just try to keep it from sounding like a sob story, tell how it’s inspired you or helped you grow as a person. Good luck :)
