Hello everyone. I need some help and/or advice. I just finished my freshman year at a state university. I ended my freshman year with a 2.7 GPA. I want to become a nurse but just didn’t take my newfound freedom at college seriously but now I’m ready to buckle down on my grades for the rest of college. I just wanted to know what would be my chances of getting accepted to nursing school after receiving a 2.7 GPA my freshman year? Thank you.
Hey! I just finished my freshman year in Health Sciences/DPT with a 3.66 GPA. Based on what you said, it’s going to be harder for you to get into nursing school. If you can get your GPA over a 3.4 for the next two semesters, you may be in a better position to get into nursing school. Maybe try and retake classes that you didn’t do so well in. Also, ask your academic advisor what would be best for you to get into nursing school. Hope this helps!
