What are my chances of getting into NYU as a transfer?

Hey Everyone,

Just want to know what everyone thinks.

I graduated HS with a 97/100 GPA, (which is like a 3.9-4.0 on a 4.0 scale) and was ranked #42 of 355 students.
I attended a near-by community college because I received a free 2 year scholarship.

My current GPA at my college is 3.97 of 4.0
but the only thing I worry about is that I do not have much volunteer or extracurricular experiences. Also, I only took the SAT's once and got a 1400 on it, but I found that after going to a college, your SAT's don't matter anymore.

I plan to transfer to NYU, Stern Business School in particular, so what are my chances of getting in NYU?

Also, what is your opinion on NYU, Stern Business School?

Thanks a lot in advance!!

Jason =)

If you don’t need financial aid, you’ll be accepted. If you do need financial aid, you’ll maybe be accepted but they’ll give you so little aid you won’t be able to go.

Apply to other schools as well.

Thanks sonybd, are you currently attending or have attended NYU in the past?
