Hello! I’m applying to RPI regular decision, and I’m wondering what my approximate chances are of getting accepted.
I currently have a 4.0 GPA, 1580 SAT (superscored—max score at a single testing date was 1570), 800 Math II, and 750 for both Bio-E and US History subject tests. I’m president of our music honor society, historian of French honor society, I’ve been on my school’s three-person trivia team (It’s Academic for anyone in the MD area that knows it) junior and senior year, and I made first chair alto sax in the upper level of concert band this year. I’m also a National Merit Semifinalist and a National AP Scholar, but I’m not sure how much those actually play into things since thousands of people qualify for those?
Also, I know they’re only 30% female, so would me being a girl help my chances at all?
Thank you so much!
