I'm a junior in an NJ high school and I was just wondering about my chances of getting into a college like Rutgers based on my stats and ECs.

SAT: 2030

CR: 770
Math: 600
Writing: 640

GPA: 3.7 (I'm not entirely sure if this is unweighted or not, still need to ask my counselor)

EC's:

Created classic rock club at my school
Member of debate club and gay-straight alliance
Taught a computer class to old people

I would appreciate some responses, thanks!

You seem like a good candidate for Rutgers. Do you any more EC?

Now that I remember, I was on the video production team for my school’s play, and I’ve taken acting, computer programming and Italian as electives. I also have around 60+ hours of community service

Apart from the Pharmacy School, your chances should be excellent. Engineering might be a modest reach, but Arts & Sciences should be a walk for you.

IMO you’re a safety because so many kids from my school have gotten in with lower stats and you’re in-state.

Well these responses are quite reassuring, so that’s nice… Perhaps I might be able to get a scholarship?

you’ll probably got a good amount of money from RU.
