Hi, I'm an American student with a 3.1 GPA and fairly good SAT and ACT scores and I'd really like to go to college in Canada. I'd plan on applying to the following schools:

The University of Toronto
The University of British Columbia
The University of Victoria
McGill University
University of Waterloo

If it's not too much trouble, can you tell me my chances or make an educated guess. Remember, I'm an American junior in high school with about a 3.1 GPA with a few honors classes, and I have fairly good SAT and ACT scores, and I'm a pretty good writer and can write a great application essay.

Thanks

Please, somebody reply.

A 3.1 GPA would make admission to McGill unlikely. Here are the minimum GPA and test scores required for consideration:
[Admissions standards (US)](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/standards/unitedstates/)

i think it might be hard for people to chance you since most people on this website know pretty much nothing about canadian schools. i’ve heard mcgill is pretty good, though.

It will depend on which specific program you’re thinking of applying to. Admission to many Canadian universities is to the specific program/major, and it depends on the number of available spaces and level of competition.
