What are my chances of getting into these colleges for international relations?

I am a high school student in New York and have a huge interest in international relations and am planning to apply to:

  • Georgetown (ik this is a huge reach)
  • George Washington University in St. Louis
  • American University
  • UChicago
  • NYU

I have received:
AP French: 4
AP World History: 5
AP English Language and Composition: 5
AP US History: 5
AP Comparative Government: 5
AP US Government: 5
AP Literature: 5

ACT: 34

My GPA is a 3.4. My grades in foreign language, history, and english have always been extremely high. My science has been above average but not stupendous. My math grade has been abysmal which is what really weighed my grades down (I usually waver between 70’s and a low 80) I’ve taken calculus and did average on it (81).

I’ve taken a few college courses (couple of days every semester) that local universities have offered on human rights, political science, and international relations.

I’ve written for the school newspaper. I have started a chapter of this anti-genocide organization in my school and am President (2 years). I have been Vice President and am President of my school’s Amnesty International chapter (3 years) and I also do Model UN and have won a few awards at national conferences. (3 years)

I have also volunteered for this national student anti-genocide organization, producing weekly news reports (2 years), and have taught myself Arabic to a conversational level (worked on it for 3 years) as well as achieved fluency in French.

Given your GPA I would say Georgetown and UChicago are reaches. American I’m pretty confident you will get into. GW GPA is low but I think your ACT scores will help you a lot I think you’ll get in. NYU I’m not sure your GPA is low but your ACT is really good it could go either way.
